I completed my undergraduate degree at the
University of Arkansas. As part of my undergrad study, I spent 13
months in New Zealand investigating the use of GPS and GIS for heritage
preservation among the gold fields of the Otago Region. I currently
serve as the Newsletter Current Research Coordinator for Asia with
the Society for Historical Archaeology. My research interests are
the intersection of heritage preservation and technology, cultural
resources management, and the Chinese Diaspora around the world.
I will compare heritage management strategies and policies between
the US, Scandanavia, and Asia for my degree at MTU. If you would
