Originally from Philadelphia, I graduated
from the University of Maryland in May of 2001 with a BS in Architecture.
From there I went to work for the Georgia State Railroad Museum
at Savannah, where I worked until the spring of 2003. In the summer
of 2002, Itook leave from there to work as an interpreter at the
Cass Scenic Railroad State Park in West Virginia. My areas of interest
are railroad history and technology, and Appalachian industrial
communities. I plan on going into industrial museum and site development
planning. I am presently working with the Houghton County Historical
Society to develop a plan to interpret the remains of the Calumet
and Hecla Mining Company's stamp mills at Lake Linden, Michigan |
